BROOKINGS – The Brookings girls’ tennis team went 0-3 in the Brookings Quadrangular on Tuesday.
The Bobcats went 2-7 against Aberdeen Roncalli. They were then swept by Sioux Falls O’Gorman and St. Thomas More.
Heather Rudd defeated Raley Haskell 10-9 (7-5) in the No. 4 singles match against Roncalli. In the No. 6 singles match, Sophie Tanner swept Anna Mitzel 10-0.
Brea Tonsager and Rudd came close in the No. 2 doubles match, but fell 10-8. Hannah Okerman lost 10-5 in the No. 5 singles match.
Brookings failed to win a match against O’Gorman and St. Thomas More. The Bobcats are now 1-17 on the season and play in the Harrisburg Triangular on Thursday. Brookings plays Harrisburg at noon and Sioux Falls Lincoln at 2:30 p.m.
