BROOKINGS – The Bombers Gray dropped a pair of game to Sioux Falls West on Wednesday at Mickelson Field – falling 5-0 in the opener and 6-3 in the nightcap – to go to 2-18 overall.
The Bombers play host to Pierre on Friday in a 2 p.m. doubleheader.

A scoreless first inning for both teams, West scored twice in the second and three times in the fourth frames to post a 5-0 shutout of the Bombers.
Jesse Roberts and Ethan Molengraaf had the two Bandits’ hits as Aidan Stewart suffered the loss on the mound after giving up five runs – three earned – on four hits and three walks with five strikeouts in four innings of work.
Gavin Fixsen tossed the fifth and walked one and struck out one.

West scored three third-inning runs to pull away from the Bombers and complete the sweep with a 6-3 win.
Ethan Molengraaf went the distance on the mound for Gray as he allowed two earned runs on seven hits and three walks.
Isac Norgaard notched two hits and drove in a run as David Fenske had the other base hit.
