Monday, March 18
11:15 a.m. Brookings police responded to a disorderly subject.
11:41 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a potential drug violation.
11:54 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of fraud. A report was generated.
1:06 p.m. Assistd Brookings County Sheriff’s Office with the digital extraction of a cell phone pursuant to a search warrant that they had obtained for a case.
7:38 p.m. A report was made of ID theft. The incident is under investigation.
Tuesday, March 19
8:58 a.m. Officers assisted another agency. One individual was placed under arrest for a warrant. A report was generated.
11:14 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a hit and run.
3:14 p.m. Officers responded to a call of a trespass violation.
3:57 p.m. Officers created an animal bite report.
4:15 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a fictitious ID. A citation was issued.
6:30 p.m. Officers responded to an assault that had taken place. Two individuals were taken into custody.
6:54 p.m. The Brookings Police Department received a call reporting a juvenile who ran away from home. The juvenile was located later that night.
Wednesday, March 20
1:07 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop, where drug paraphernalia was located. A citation was issued.
8:22 a.m. Officers responded to the 500 Block of Elm Avenuw for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was generated.
11:23 a.m. Officers received a complaint about fraud. A report was generated.
12:19 p.m. Brookings police took a report of identity theft.
3:50 p.m. Brookings police took a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
3:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 Block of 22nd Avenue South for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was generated.
6:37 p.m. A report of trespassing to a residence was made to the Brookings PD. Nothing reported stolen at this time.
9:34 p.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
