Sunday, Oct. 30
12:56 a.m. BPD stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation and speed. The driver was arrested for DUI.
2:06 a.m. Brookings Police arrested a driver for DUI.
2:16 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of 17th Avenue. An arrest was made for DUI.
10:15 a.m. Officers took a report of vandalism.
6:44 p.m. Brookings Police Department took a report of a motor vehicle accident.
7:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of West Highway 14-Bypass to retrieve found property
Monday, Oct. 31
2:30 p.m. Officers responded to a call for stolen property. Report taken.
6:18 p.m. Officers took a report of stolen property, in the 900 block of Seventh St.
6:26 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report in regards to a juvenile sexual offense. A report was generated.
Tuesday, Nov. 1
10:01 a.m. Officer Schneider was made aware of a former student who was in the Brookings High School and had no reason to be there. A verbal trespass was given
12:30 p.m. Officers received a traffic complaint. A driver was cited for the incident.
6:38 p.m. Officers were made aware of a possible runaway juvenile. A report was generated.
Wednesday, Nov. 2
12:41 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident.
1:48 p.m. Officers took a report of fraud. An investigation is ongoing.
2:53 p.m. Brookings police took a report of a minor two-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Sixth Street.
3:16 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance.
5:15 p.m. Officers took a report of theft.
Thursday, Nov. 3
11:34 a.m. Brookings police took a report of a stolen prescriptions drugs from a vehicle.
11:56 a.m. Brooking police officers took a report of a two-vehicle accident.
12:43 p.m. Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle in the 300 block of Main Avenue. The bicycle was later recovered and a suspect was identified.
1:20 p.m. Police officers were dispatched to a residence for possible burglary. The incident is being investigated.
2:42 p.m. BPD received a report for theft.
3:38 p.m. Brookings police officers took a report of theft.
4:19 p.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of Fifth Street South in report of a possible drunk driver. Upon further investigation, an individual was arrested for DUI.
5:41 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a runaway juvenile. A state case was opened.
9:32 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a car vs. deer accident. A report was filed.
Friday, Nov. 4
9:38 a.m. Brookings police officers responded to suspicious activity. Three people were charged for drug related charges.
12:40 p.m. During the investigation of a non-injury accident, police found multiple vehicles with the same plate and state. Plate number: 6A3426.
12:58 p.m. A male walked into the Brookings Police Department about a report of lost property while moving. A report was generated.
6:20 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft.
11:54 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted in the 3000 block of Sixth St. An individual was arrested for DUI and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
