BROOKINGS — Students from the Brookings High School art department competed in the 2024 State Visual Arts Competition over the weekend and were awarded second place overall.
Individual students awarded were:
Students also competed in the first-ever School Sanctioned Art Wars Competition. Finn Erp placed first in Drawing, and Julianna Converse placed third in Drawing. Student work will be on display at the Brookings Arts Council High School Art Exhibit starting March 28, as well as at the Annual Koffee Klatch on May 13.
