AURORA – One shed and several vehicles were burglarized in Aurora, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle burglaries were reported at 10:42 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Nicolett Street in Aurora. The vehicles were unlocked, and it is believed they were entered between 2-3 a.m. Friday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“One pair of Oakley sunglasses and one pair Under Armor sunglasses valued at $200 were stolen from one vehicle; a Simmons Binoculars (unknown power) with a case valued at $50 was stolen from a vehicle, and a credit card and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from another vehicle,” Sebring said.
The shed burglary was reported at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Madison Avenue North in Aurora. The storage shed was unlocked and someone entered it sometime between Thursday and when it was noticed on Monday, said Sebring.
“The suspect or suspects stole a Ruger .22 caliber revolver valued at $400, a fold up buck knife, .22 ammo, and .17 HMR ammo,” Sebring said.
