BROOKINGS – It can be difficult to pick up a new hobby or skill when you don’t know where to start. However, if you’ve ever wanted to try painting with acrylics, the Brookings Public Library is here to help.
At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, the library’s community services coordinator will provide supplies and lead a group step-by-step in creating their own cactus painting on canvas (see the Library’s newsletter or Facebook page for a picture of the canvas example). Registration is required, and participation is limited. Contact the Library at 605-692-9407 to register. Registration opened Sept. 13.
