AURORA – A car was stolen along with several items inside, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The theft was reported at 5:40 a.m. Thursday and occurred in the 100 block of South Broadway in Aurora, said Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
The tan 2007 Ford Fusion was stolen sometime between 8:20 p.m. Wednesday and 5:10 a.m. Thursday, Sebring said.
“The vehicle has a red license plate cover on the front of the vehicle and a silver license plate cover on the rear. The license plate number is 6A3765. A blue purse with a peace sign on it, two check books, two ATM cards, a credit card, a violin, a flute, and an undisclosed amount of cash were inside of the vehicle,” Sebring said. He did not give an estimated value of the items.
