BROOKINGS – A chainsaw was reported stolen recently, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The theft was reported at 10:30 a.m. Monday from 46976 200th St. in rural Brookings, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“A resident reported a Steele 17 stolen out of his shop sometime between Thursday, Aug. 1, to Tuesday, Aug. 13. The chainsaw is valued at $180,” Sebring said.
