Doris Groce, 85, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Lake Norden Care and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Norden.
Visitation is from 9 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday with a prayer service to follow. Burial is in the Ramona Protestant Cemetery at Ramona.
Doris Groce was born March 5, 1933, at Ramona, to John and Maude (Borah) Groce. The family moved to Oldham in 1938. Doris attended grade school in Oldham and later became an Echo client in Madison, where she was taught life skills and placed in a part-time job with Rosco Manufacturing.
After retirement she was relocated to the Lake Norden Care and Rehabilitation Center where she resided until her death.
Doris is survived by three brothers, Alvin of Oldham, Ernest (Dorothy) of Pamona, California, and Douglas (Charlotte) of Madison; two sisters-in-law, Betty Groce of Madison and Meryl Groce of Santa Barbara, California and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Iva Hayes, FernYoung and Jeannie DeKnikker, and four brothers, Irwin, Darrel, Floyd and Loren.
