Douglas Eggebraaten, 73, of Rutland, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023  at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Grace Lutheran Church in Nunda. Burial will be at Lake Park Cemetery in Wentworth. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Ellsworth Funeral Home.
Douglas attended Rutland High School. He worked for the South Dakota Department of Transportation (DOT) for 40 years.
Local survivors include a daughter, Lisa (Matthew) Penning of Lake Campbell; a brother Ted (Mary Lou) Eggebraaten of Brookings and a sister, Loretta (Marv) Entringer of Flandreau.
Ellsworth Funeral Home of Madison is in charge of arrangements.
