FORT WORTH, Texas — Second-ranked TCU held big advantages in three events and went on to defeat South Dakota State, 16-3, in a women’s equestrian head-to-head competition Thursday at John Justin Arena.
The Horned Frogs improved to 7-1 on the season. SDSU, which was competing for the first time in more than two months, dropped to 1-4.
TCU swept the horsemanship event, 5-0, and claimed all four available points in flat. The Horned Frogs also earned four of the five points in reining.
The Jackrabbits have a head-to-head competition Friday at Texas A&M. The competition will start at 1 p.m.
