BROOKINGS – The Brookings Public Library will be host a “Verse and Vino” Poetry Night at Mosaic Wine Bar at 6:30 p.m. July 14.
Poets and poetry lovers alike are invited to share their appreciation of poetry, meet each other, and relax with some verse and vino. Bring a poem that fits with the theme, share with the group, and discuss. Feel free to bring a personal composition or a favorite from another poet. This month’s theme is “Identity and Self.”
The library will provide non-alcoholic refreshments as needed, but participants are welcome to purchase any drinks and snacks on their own. This event is 21+.
