Little Leprechauns write thank-you notes for their project

The Little Leprechaun 4-H club met Aug. 11 at the Brookings County Outdoor Adventure Center.

The meeting was called to order by vice-president Kale Nelsen. Flag salute and 4-H pledge were led by Reba Gayne.

The roll call topic was “What did you exhibit at Achievement Days?”

The secretary report was given by Averie Robinson and treasurer report was given by Kate Gayne. Morgan Douglas was welcomed into the club. Unfinished business was a review of Achievement Days and discussing what worked and what could be improved.

Thank you to the Hahn family for supplying five cases of water to Achievement Days.

The club's Radio Take Over fundraiser was reviewed. The Talk this month was “What time do you get up in the morning and what do you have for breakfast?” The project this month was the club members made thank-you notes for the club to use during the 4-H year.

The next club meeting is set for Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at the BCOAC.
