The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting at the Brookings County OAC Building Sunday, Nov. 11, at 4:30 p.m. Thirteen members, four leaders and three guests were present.
Lane called the meeting to order, Ayisha lead the flag pledge and Jack Sein lead the 4-H pledge. Roll call was “Name something you are thankful for?” Ayisha gave the secretary’s report and no amendments were made. Treasurer’s report was given by Liberty and no amendments were made.
Old business discussed: Writing thank you cards to all the sponsors you received awards from this year. Reminder that Tyler and Liberty will bring bars for recognition night.
New business discussed: 2018-2019 enrollment begins Oct. 1. Be sure to re-enroll online.
The 4-H recognition event was held Nov. 13 at the Brookings County OAC building, 4-H shooting sports registration opened Monday Nov. 19. We will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 25, in Elkton to decorate a tree for the Festival of trees. Community service was sponsor a Thanksgiving meal for a family, made bird and squirrel feeders, set up chairs for 4-H recognition night.
The next meeting will be Sunday, Dec. 2. The club will go bowling starting at 2 p.m. with the meeting at the Brookings County OAC building at 4:30 p.m.
