The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Bushnell at the Bushnell Park on Sept. 8.

Maddisyn called the meeting to order, Dailynn led the flag pledge, and Maddisyn led the 4-H pledge.

The roll call was, “What did you bring to the State Fair and how did you do?”

Old business discussed: State Fair results.

New business discussed: October marks the start of the new 4-H year. National 4-H week is Oct. 7-12. 4-H record books are due by Oct. 7 to the county office. The recognition event will be Nov. 19 with supper at 5:15 p.m. and awards at 6:30 p.m.

Community service and 4-H promotion: ditch cleaning.

Next meeting will be Oct. 13 in Elkton.
