There were 26 teams at this event and five of those teams were from MMS.

On March 4, the Mickelson Middle School quiz bowlers attended a quiz bowl competition in Madison.
There were 26 teams at this event and five of those teams were from MMS.
Brookings Team 3 of Kerrick Zhang, Eli Ellsworth, Holden Austreim, Jagat Perumal, and Grant Tellekson had high hopes of a first place finish but came in second place behind O’Gorman Team 1. This Brookings team is eager for one more chance this season to compete against O’Gorman again.
Brookings Team 2 of Rayaan Ahmad, Donovan Gloege, Hudson Vincent, Landon Mosley, and Liam Heiberger finished in seventh place.
Charlie Butzin, Annabell Bartels, Elizabeth Saunders and Sanhita Tummala, of Brookings Team 1, took 12th place.
18th place went to Brookings Team 6, Jay KC, Tyler Hegg, August Steinhauer, Oscar Steinhauer, and Shinji Numata.
Finally, Brookings Team 4 of Bob Carroll, Deacon Trumbo, Kale Weiker, Travis Beckley and Ted Lin placed 20th after several very close rounds.
