BROOKINGS – No area businesses failed an alcohol compliance check on Wednesday, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
“A total of nine businesses were checked in Brookings County. No businesses failed the compliance check and sold to the 20-year-old buyer,” Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
During the previous compliance check in January 2017, one of 11 businesses that were checked failed, he added.
