Paul Jensen, 87, of Oldham, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at the Madison Regional Heath System in Madison.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Oldham Lutheran Church in Oldham with burial in the Oldham City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday and preceding services in the church on Thursday.
Paul R. Jensen was born on June 14, 1931, to Harry and Evelyn Jensen. Paul served in the Korean War from 1952-1954.
He married Shirlee Bumann on Nov. 12, 1954. They lived on a farm near Oldham before moving into Oldham in 1984. His passion of caring for the land was evident and he farmed throughout his life.
Paul was a member of the American Legion Post No. 158 of Oldham. In addition to farming, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow over the years.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Melba (Don) Bickett; two sons, Todd (Dora) Jensen and Brett (Deann) Jensen; two brothers, Loren (Marianne) Jensen, Dwight (Audrey) Jensen; two sisters-in-law, Marvis Jensen and JoAnn Lingbeck;one brother-in-law, Bill (Karen) Bumann; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, one sister, three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
