Tuesday, Jan. 5
6:51 a.m. Officers took a report of a theft from a vehicle near the 300 block of 22nd Avenue. The incident is currently under investigation.
7:42 p.m. An officer with the Brookings Police Department conducted a welfare check in the 1200 block of Windsor Drive. A report has been generated.
11:34 p.m. Fail to maintain financial responsibility
Wednesday, Jan. 6
12:39 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Eighth Street South for an equipment violation. The driver was cited for driving while suspended and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
1:25 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a minor crash on private property in the 1300 block of Fourth Street.

Thursday, Jan. 7
7:49 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the intersection of Main Avenue South and Second Street South for a noninjury three-vehicle accident. A report was filed.
2:25 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of vandalism and theft in the 2200 block of 10th. A report was filed.
Friday, Jan. 8
2:08 a.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of Ninth Avenue for a welfare check of a possibly suicidal male. Officers located the male, and he was transported to the ER.
2:12 a.m. Obstructing officer, jailer, firefighter; underage purchase or possession of alcoholic beverages
Saturday, Jan. 9
2:21 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Orchard Drive. After further investigation, a male driver was arrested for DUI.
2:53 a.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Sixth Street to a report of an assault. One person was arrested.
