Sunday, Jan. 10
1:58 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Main Avenue South. After an investigation, one male was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A report was generated.
7:17 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a medical call in the 700 block of 22nd Avenue South.
11:58 a.m. Brookings Police responded to 2233 Sixth St. for a report of shoplifting. An officer arrived on scene, and one male was issued a summons to appear for petty theft. A report was generated.
5:05 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 900 block of Roberts Avenue for a report of a male making suicidal comments. The male was not located at the time. A ping on the subject was attempted. A report was generated.
8:10 p.m. Disorderly conduct; criminal trespass after notice; simple assault against a law enforcement officer
Monday, Jan. 11
10:49 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a license plate violation. The driver was arrested for DUI.
6:08 p.m. Officers responded a non-injury accident at 315 Seventh Ave. A report was taken.
Tuesday, Jan. 12
10:38 a.m. School Resource Officer Warkenthien took a report of sexual contact involving juveniles. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
6:39 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Brookings ER to pick up an anonymous sexual assault kit.
Wednesday, Jan. 13
8:29 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Main Avenue South for a report of shoplifting. Investigation is ongoing.
9:50 a.m. Officers responded to a report of theft that occurred on 2200 block of Sixth Street.
1:39 p.m. A female reported her wallet missing. A report was filed.
