8:29 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Sixth Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was generated.
9:57 a.m. Officer Kreutner took a report of lost property. A report was generated.
12:33 p.m. Officer Warkenthien was made aware of a student who has missed an excessive amount of school. An investigation was made, and charges are pending for truancy. A juvenile report has been filed.
1:15 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 100 block of Medary Avenue. A city accident report was completed.
5:22 p.m. A female wanted to report lost property. A report was generated.
6:17 p.m. Officers responded to a non-injury crash in the 2500 block of Sixth Street. A report was taken.
6:35 p.m. Dispatch notified Officer Doremus of a male who turned himself into the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office with a felony warrant.
12:19 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Seventh Street for a welfare concern. One individual was transported to the Brookings Hospital. A report was taken.
8 a.m. Officer Kreutner was dispatched to the 700 block of 17th Avenue South for a report of a three-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was generated.
1: 25 p.m. The Brookings Police Department, Brookings Ambulance and Brookings Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle, injury accident that occurred at the intersection of Eastbrook Drive and 22nd Avenue. One person was transported by ambulance for injuries, and the accident remains under investigation.
10:22 p.m. Officers arrived at a residence to perform a warrant arrest. A male was arrested for ingestion of marijuana.
12:18 a.m. Officer Hart conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Main Avenue South for a vehicle operating without its headlights. As a result of the stop, the driver was placed under arrest for being in possession of a suspended license.
11:30 a.m. Officer Jurrens arrived in the 700 block of 32nd Avenue in reference to a possible drug violation. One person was arrested for controlled substance.
