1:06 a.m. Officers received a Department of Social Services referral in the 1800 block of 12th Street South. A report was filed.
8:12 a.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of Sixth Avenue South for a welfare concern. A report was filed.
1:38 p.m. Possession of a controlled drug or substance; possession or use of drug paraphernalia; driving while suspended
3:21 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the report of a stolen vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

6:14 a.m. Officer Page took a report of theft. A report was generated.
11:25 a.m. Officer Warkenthien took a report of intentional damage in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue. An investigation was made, and a report has been filed.

10:40 a.m. Officers received a report of a protection order violation occurring in the 100 block of Seventh Street. One male was arrested. A report was filed.

7:26 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 700 block of Western Avenue in reference to theft and intentional damage
7:37 p.m. Officers received information about an individual with an active arrest warrant. The individual was located and arrested for the active warrant. A report was filed.
8:43 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a report in regard to trespassing.

9:33 p.m. Brookings Police took a report in regard to a stolen vehicle.
Friday, July 17
12:49 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a non-injury accident. A report was filed.
4:36 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Sixth Street near Interstate 29. Drug items were located. Charges are pending. A report was filed.
