9:12 a.m. Credit card/ATM fraud
12:13 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Faculty Drive and Sixth Street for a non-injury accident. A report was filed.
6:18 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the report of a theft. A report was filed.
Friday, July 24
8:19 a.m. Theft of lost or mislaid property, less than $100
9:37 a.m. An officer spoke to an individual at the Brookings Police Department regarding stalking. An investigation was made, and as a result, charges were filed and forwarded to the Brookings County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
11:23 a.m. Petty theft all others, $400-$1,000
11:52 a.m. Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle from the 3200 block of 22nd Avenue South. A theft report was generated.
12:15 p.m. Officers took a report of theft in the 2200 block of Sixth Street.
1:18 p.m. Law enforcement spoke to a parent in regard to problems they have been having with their child.
3:08 p.m. Officers 104 and 116 responded to a non-injury accident in the 1300 block of Western Avenue.
7:52 p.m. Brookings Police assisted in locating a vehicle heading north on Interstate 29. The vehicle had an attempt to locate for two children which were taken from a residence in Flandreau. The driver was placed under arrest.

Sunday, July 26
12:25 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. The male passenger was arrested for a probation violation.
1:33 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Southland Lane for discharge of fireworks or firearm call.
