Monday, Aug. 31
9:42 a.m. Officers took a report of a juvenile incident. A report was generated.
12:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of 34th Avenue to a report of a theft. A report was taken.
1:09 p.m. An officer took a report of fraudulent checks being used to purchase items off of Poshmark. A report was filed.
Tuesday, Sept. 1
2:10 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of the Highway 14 Bypass. One male was arrested on drug charges and an ICE detainer.
7:24 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sixth Street and Medary Avenue in report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian.
Wednesday, Sept. 2
3:24 a.m. A female wanted to speak with an officer. The female’s concerns were found to be mental health related, and a safety plan was established with family and counseling.

1:03 p.m. Sex offender registry updates
4:14 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Main Avenue South. One male was cited for a drug offense. A report was generated.
Thursday, Sept. 3
2:12 a.m. Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Prarie View Drive and Eighth Street South. The driver of the vehicle was charged with DUI.
3:02 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Seventh Street for a report of a possible domestic. One male was arrested for aggravated assault domestic. A report was filed.
