Saturday, Sept. 28
4:40 a.m. Intentional damage to property
10:24 a.m. Officer Franklin took a theft report in the 100 block of Fourth Street.
12:50 p.m. Officer Franklin took a report of sexual contact in the 2400 block of Yorkshire Drive.
1:38 p.m. Officer Engstrom responded to Pioneer Park for a report of vandalism. The incident was documented and is being investigated.
Sunday, Sept. 29
1:33 a.m. Officer Hart conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of Main Avenue. As a result of the stop, the driver was arrested and charged with careless driving and driving under the influence.
4:12 p.m. Brookings Police took a juvenile report.
5:32 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 700 block of Second Street South for a domestic assault in progress. One male was arrested for felony assault.
Monday, Sept. 30
12:06 a.m. A vehicle was towed from downtown for being a traffic hazard and illegally parked.
10:17 a.m. Officer Schneider received a truancy report about a high school student. A report was filed, and charges are pending.
10:29 a.m. Accessory – harbor or conceal
10:31 a.m. Officer Jurrens took a report about a theft in the 600 block of Fifth Street.
11 a.m. Officer Kreutner was dispatched to the 1200 block of Main Avenue South in regard to illegal dumping. A report was generated, and one was cited.
12:36 p.m. Officer Jurrens took a report about a stolen debit card which was used to charge $1,183.97 total from different businesses.
5:12 p.m. Officer Page took a report for a two-vehicle accident that occurred earlier.
5:48 p.m. Law enforcement received a call about a single-vehicle injury accident. After investigating the accident, one male driver was arrested for DUI and possession of firearm while intoxicated.
7:01 p.m. A business from the 500 block of Sixth Street reported a theft. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
9:07 p.m. Officer Pollman responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 700 block of Eighth Street South. A city report was filed.
