Saturday, Oct. 2
2:35 a.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for DUI.
10:33 a.m. Officers spoke with a Brookings resident regarding a motor vehicle burglary and stolen firearm that happened sometime the previous night.
12:01 p.m. Officers responded to the 900 block of 22nd Avenue South for a report of a theft from a business. The incident is under investigation.
12:44 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 500 block of 12th Street South for a juvenile incident.
9:37 p.m. Officers responded to 526 Fifth Ave. S. No. 7 for a report of assault. During the investigation, it was determined both female parties assaulted each other and were placed under arrest.
Sunday, Oct. 3
12:11 a.m. Juvenile incident
3:27 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop near the 900 block of Sixth Street. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI. A report has been generated.
10:02 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Eighth Street South and Christine Avenue in report of a two-vehicle accident with potential injuries. Both drivers were checked by EMS personnel and were not taken to the hospital. One driver was issued a citation.
10:44 a.m. In the 900 block of Sixth St., Brookings Police investigated a counterfeit money incident.
Monday, Oct. 4
12:26 a.m. Dispatch notified Brookings Police officers of a male looking in a bedroom window in the 1600 block of 17th Avenue South. The incident is under investigation.
