Thursday, Nov. 18
2:10 p.m. Sgt. Franklin responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 2200 block of Sixth Street.
Friday, Nov. 19
2:30 a.m. Officers responded to 3045 Lefevre Drive at the Cenex gas station for a report of an individual asleep and slumped over the steering wheel at a gas pump. Further investigation led to an arrest for DUI-second offense.
2:04 p.m. Sgt. Franklin responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 700 block of 22nd Avenue.
2:34 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident near 12th Street South and 17th Avenue South. A report has been generated.
6:27 p.m. Brookings Police officers responded to the 300 block of Front Street for a report of harassment. A report was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.
8:21 p.m. Brookings Police officers initiated a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Main Avenue South. After an investigation, a female was arrested for DUI and an outstanding warrant.
Saturday, Nov. 20
2:01 a.m. Brookings Police officers initiated a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Third Street. An investigation began and was taken over by South Dakota Highway Patrol. A male was arrested for DUI.
6:31 p.m. Officers responded to 2410 Yorkshire Drive for a report of an individual making suicidal comments. The individual was brought to the Brookings Emergency Room. A report was generated.
9:25 p.m. Officers made a warrant arrest at 521 12th St. S. A report was generated.
11:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue to conduct a check on possible fake driver’s licenses. Two individuals were arrested for possession of fictitious license.
