Saturday, Nov. 23
2:37 a.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of Third Avenue South for a possible burglary. A report was filed.
9:25 a.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Orchard Drive for an animal complaint. Drug equipment was located, and a citation was issued.
12:49 p.m. Officer Page responded to the 2100 block of Eighth Street South for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A city accident report was completed.
11:54 p.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of Eighth Street South for a report of a domestic in progress. One individual had fled on foot before officers arrived. An investigation was made, and a report was filed.
Sunday, Nov. 24
12:17 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. Suspected drug items were located inside the vehicle.
1:58 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.
2:15 a.m. Officers observed a disturbance in the 300 block of Main Avenue. An investigation was conducted. One individual was taken into custody for assault. A report was filed.
4:54 a.m. Brookings Police located a stolen vehicle from Watertown near Highway 14 mile marker 418. A report was filed.
12:11 p.m. Officers responded to 311 Eighth St. for a welfare check. The individual was found deceased.
