BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University student Allyson Quanbeck will hold her senior recital at 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall.
Quanbeck, a music education major from Brandon, is a mezzo soprano. She will be accompanied by Melanie Timmerman on piano and Kasidy Tvedt on flute. Quanbeck will feature selections from Edvard Grieg, Lori Laitman, Ruggero Leoncavallo, Robert Schumann and Francesco Paolo Tosti.
She has been a member of the SDSU Concert Choir and the SDSU Opera Workshop.
