BROOKINGS – Sioux Falls Roosevelt defeated Brookings 9-0 in a boys’ tennis dual Saturday morning at Hillcrest.
Spenser Smith beat Jonah Dobbs 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 singles. Smith and Aiden Nguyen dropped Dobbs and Dalton Rittershaus 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
A pair of matches went three sets.
Landon May toppled Micah Ardry 6-2, 2-6, 10-3 at No. 3 singles and Brady Barr notched a 6-2, 1-6, 10-1 victory over Dawson Peters at No. 4.
Brookings (3-6) plays at Sioux Falls Washington on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
