BROOKINGS – The Brookings Police Department is wrapping up its first session of Safety Town at Medary Elementary this week. BPD Officer Josh Schneider, above left, spent the session teaching kids important safety tips, from street activities to animal safety. The first session’s students will graduate Friday after completing a two-week program.
