BROOKINGS – The South Dakota State University Jazz Ensembles’ fall concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Larson Memorial Concert Hall in the Performing Arts Center on campus. The concert is open to the public with no charge for admission.
The program will consist of traditional and modern big band/jazz combo music from composers including Vernon Duke, Gordon Goodwin, Jeff Jarvis, Thelonious Monk, Bob Mintzer and Sammy Nestico.
Performing will be the SDSU Jazz Ensembles I and II plus the jazz combos.
