BOULDER CREEK, Nevada – The South Dakota State women’s golf team is second Monday after the first two rounds of the ninth-annual Jackrabbit Invitational.
The Jackrabbits shot a two-round 608 (309-299) on the par-72, 6,343-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club. No. 36-ranked UNLV leads the nine-team field, shooting a 573 (290-283).
Teresa Toscano is second, one stroke behind leader and 73rd-ranked Polly Mack of UNLV. Toscano shot a two-under par 142 (71-71) with six birdies.
Cassidy Laidlaw is tied for 15th, firing a 153 (79-74). Natcha Srimaneerungroj is 22nd (83-72=155), Sydney Bormann is tied for 29th (76-82=158) and Brooke Piearson is 55th (84-89=173).
Playing as an individual, Magda Kruger is tied for 39th (81-80=161).
