BROOKINGS – The Brookings Ministerial Association will host a Sunday morning church service at the Pioneer Park Bandshell Sunday, July 10. The service starts at 8 a.m. and is in conjunction with the Brookings Summer Arts Festival.

Sunday morning service planned at Brookings Summer Arts Festival

BROOKINGS – The Brookings Ministerial Association will host a Sunday morning church service at the Pioneer Park Bandshell Sunday, July 10. The service starts at 8 a.m. and is in conjunction with the Brookings Summer Arts Festival.

BMA members the Rev. Dorothy Tufte and the Rev. Rodney Farke will provide scripture readings, with music by Phil Larson and sermon by the Rev. Larry Ort. Then Rev. Pete Grassow will lead the offertory, and closing prayers will be by Rev. Daum to conclude the service.

A free-will offering will be taken, benefitting the Brookings Ministerial Association’s community programs.

Everyone is welcome to attend this service and while some seating is provided, service attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Vehicles are not allowed in the park, so please plan to park outside of the park.
