BROOKINGS — A Brookings man was taken to the hospital after a car fell on his leg Tuesday, according to the Brookings Police.
The incident was reported at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday and occurred at a residence in the 1400 block of Legeros Drive, said Lt. Derrick Powers. He did not have an age for the man.
“He was working on a passenger car and the wheel was off of the vehicle when it came off the jack,” Powers said.
The ambulance and officers responded.
“Upon arrival, the vehicle was still on his leg. Officers were able to obtain a jack to get the vehicle off of his leg,” Powers said.
The man was transported to the emergency room by ambulance.
