BROOKINGS – A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle over the weekend, according to Brookings Police.
The theft was reported at 3:48 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 900 block of 12th Street South, Lt. Marci Gebers said.
“The reporting party had stated she noticed that her wallet and contents had been stolen from her vehicle,” Gebers said.
The theft likely took place the evening prior, she added.
“The individual thought the vehicle was locked but there were no signs of forced entry,” Gebers said.
“There was no estimate on the wallet, and she did not have any cash in her wallet. There are no suspects at this time,” she said.
