WATERTOWN – The Arrows defeated the Bobcats 7-0 in an Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ soccer match Tuesday evening.
Regan Campbell scored on an assist from Alexa Buckley 3:20 into the game. Mahlia Derby had an unassisted goal 9 seconds later.
Buckley found the back of the net in the 12th minute, as Derby assisted. Campbell scored again on an assist from Buckley to make it 4-0 at halftime.
Alyssa Roby, Buckley and Derby added second-half goals. Campbell and Derby were both credited with an assist.
Bobcat goalkeeper Grace Mork made nine saves.
Brookings (0-2, 0-1) plays at Huron on Monday at 4 p.m.
