Allen R. Muller, 69, of Brookings, died April 14, 2018 at the United Living Community in Brookings.
Memorial services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rude’s Funeral Home in Brookings. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Rude’s Funeral Home in Brookings. In lieu of flowers the family request a donation be made to the charity of your choice in Al’s name. Rude’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Allen R. Muller was born Nov. 20, 1948, in Jamestown, North Dakota, the son of Richard and Eva (Job) Muller. He grew up and attended Gackle High School in Gackle, North Dakota. He then attended Wahpeton State School of Science, graduating with a degree in electronics.
Al worked at several places in the electronics industry before coming to Daktronics where he worked for the past 40 years. Al married Lynda Tuinstra and they have been married for the last 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda Muller of Brookings; two sons, Paul Muller (fiancé Lisa Owens) of Brookings and John Muller of Aurora; two daughters, Deanna Viland of Brookings and Laura (Christopher) Zens of Kasson, Minnesota, and two grandchildren.
Al was preceded in death by his parents.
