BISMARCK, N.D. – Sam Malinski scored on assists from Austin Jouppi and Jacob Marti 3:13 into overtime to lift the Bobcats over the Blizzard in an NAHL Central Division matchup Friday at the VFW Sports Center.
Alex Pollock and Adam Stacho had second-period goals. John Roberts made 25 saves.
Brookings’ Luke Aquaro opened the scoring early in the second. Sam Antenucci and Ryan Green assisted. Antenucci netted the equalizer at the 17:42 mark of the third, with assists going to Green and Gabe Wahl.
Jack Caruso stopped 31 shots.
The Blizzard (9-37-2-1, 21 points) and Bobcats (27-18-2-1, 57 points) face off again tonight at 7:15 in Bismarck.
