The Bobcats led 1-0 after a period before pushing their advantage to two goals with a power-play tally midway through the second.

Brady Bjork sandwiched a pair of goals around Gabe Wahl’s lamp lighter to go up 3-2 heading into the final frame. Bud Winter set up the first two goals as Owen Belisle helped on Bjork’s second score.

But Ryan Taylor netted his third goal of the game for the Bobcats to tie the score 4 minutes into the final frame, and then, Adam Stacho scored what proved to be the game winner with 12:35 remaining.

Bismarck held a 32-24 advantage in shots as John Roberts earned the win in goal with 21 saves.

George McBey stopped 28 Bobcats shots in the loss.
