BROOKINGS – The Bobcats fell 9-0 to O’Gorman and St. Thomas More during a girls’ tennis triangular Tuesday at Hillcrest.
Brookings (1-16) has another triangular Thursday at Sioux Falls Lincoln, taking on Harrisburg at noon and the host Patriots at 2 p.m.
The Eastern South Dakota Conference Tournament is Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 8 a.m. in Harrisburg and the Class AA State Tournament is Thursday, Oct. 10-Friday, Oct. 11, in Rapid City.
The Lady Knights’ Sage Barnard topped the Bobcats’ Skylor Ness 10-3 in the No. 1 singles match.
Barnard and Rima Jamous dropped Ness and Lynn Foster 10-0 at No. 1 doubles.
