BROOKINGS – Watertown’s Alex Kowalski scored twice in the first six minutes and the Arrows added a pair of goals early in the second half to beat the Bobcats 4-2 in an Eastern South Dakota Conference boys’ soccer match Tuesday night at Fishback.
Brookings’ Jada Jova scored off an assist from Kohji Numata in the 35th minute to cut the deficit in half.
Watertown’s Kade Rumpza quickly found the back of the net after halftime and Hunter Mitchell added a tally in the 50th minute.
Gabel Goldhorn scored a goal for the ‘Cats in the 63rd minute to provide for the final margin.
Brookings (0-2) is host to Huron on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
