BROOKINGS – The Brookings Bobcats’ bowling teams both earned wins on Thursday as the Bobcats hosted Sioux Falls Roosevelt at The Lanes.

Brookings will next be action this Friday as they host Harrisburg beginning at 4 p.m. at The Lanes in Brookings.

Girls’ Varsity

• Brookings 46, Roosevelt 4

Brooklyn Hieb tossed a 560 series and Brooke Seeley’s 531 series helped propel Brookings to a decisive win over the Rough Riders.

Hieb’s series included a high game of 205, while Seeley posted a 195 as the top game of her series.

Teagen Bremmon also broke 500 for her three-game series, scoring 516 with top game of 187.

Janine Warne tossed a 458 series with 186 as her high game, while Kacee Rhody threw a 438 series (148 high game) and Catelyn Vernarsky posted a 152 game as part of a 405 series.

Lincoln Sondreal had the high Bobcat series with a 586, and Dylan Scubelek had the top game with a 216 as Brookings picked up a 31-19 win over Roosevelt.

Sondreal’s series included a top game of 212, while Dylan Scubelek finished with a 554 series.

Adrian Howard posted the second-highest Brookings series with a 582, including a high game of 207.

Gabe Boyer also cracked 500 for a series with a 519 and had a 206 for his high game.

Stanley Scubelek tossed a 480 series which included a 197 top game, while James Tefft rounded out the Brookings scoring with a 422 series and high game of 159.
