BROOKINGS – The South Dakota Amateur Baseball Class A North District Tournament is Saturday and Sunday at Bob Shelden Field.
The top three finishers in the four-team tourney qualify for state.
Top-seeded Castlewood (19-2) faces fourth-seeded Aurora (1-14) at 1 p.m., and the second-seeded and host Cubs (14-8) take on third-seeded Aberdeen (12-5) at 4 p.m.
The championship game is Saturday at 7 p.m.
The first-round losers play at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, with the winner earning a state tournament bid. The winner of that contest takes on the championship game loser for second place at 3:30 p.m.
Daily admission is $5 for adults (18-over).
Malt beverage sales will be provided for those 21 and older courtesy of Schoon’s Pump ‘n Pak. Concessions will also be available.

Game 1: Castlewood (19-2) vs. Aurora (1-14), 1 p.m.
Game 2: Brookings (14-8) vs. Aberdeen (12-5), 4 p.m.
Championship
Game 3: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner, 7 p.m.
Sunday
Game 4: Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser, 12:30 pm.
Game 5: Game 3 loser vs. Game 4 winner, 3:30 p.m. (winner is Representative 2, loser is Representative 3)
