The Brookings TaeKwonDo Pride Competition Team traveled to two different tournaments on Nov. 9. Four athletes competed in the Alexandria (Minn.) Open. Hope Stover took first is sparring. Jasmine Anawski took fourth in forms. Stephen Anawski took fourth in forms, second in board breaking and fourth in sparring. Katie Bortnem took fourth in forms, second in board breaking and second in sparring. Two athletes competed in the Las Vegas Open – a USA Taekwondo Sanctioned Event Laurissa Thomas took first in sparrin and Brooklyn Schmidt took third in sparing.
