Carol Sanstead Shubeck, 95, of Beresford, died Thursday, July 27, 2107, at Sanford in Sioux Falls.
A celebration of life service is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dalesburg Lutheran Church in rural Beresford. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
She was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Berthold, N.D., to Ollie and Ethel (Smith) Sanstead.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Fred Shubeck of Beresford; son, Paul (Carol) Shubeck of Beresford; daughter, Mary (Don) Josko of Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth.
The family requests memorials to the Dalesburg Scandinavian Association.
