WATERTOWN – The host Arrows posted a score of 145 to win the Watertown Invitational on Monday, while Brookings (135.35) was second and Sioux Falls Roosevelt (131.6) third.
Watertown’s Myah Morris (37.75) and Brooke Bollinger (35.45) swept the top two spots in the all-around.
Rachel Gannon paced the Bobcats with a 34.55, putting her in third. The Rough Riders’ Jordyn Thoene (34.3) ended up fourth.
Brookings’ Maci Law (34.05), Courtney Koisti (33.5), Cydne Munson (32.3), Ava Wakeman (31.6) and Casey Johnson (31.55) finished fifth through ninth, respectively.
Morris won the vault (9.6), bars (8.95) and beam (9.75) while taking second in the floor exercise (9.45) – just behind Bollinger, who was victorious with a 9.55.
Law had Brookings’ top finish, taking second on the beam with a 9.2. Gannon was fourth at 8.8.
Law also paced the Bobcats on the vault, tying for sixth with an 8.5.
Gannon’s score of 9.1 in the floor exercise was good for fifth place. She and Munson tied for seventh on the bars at 8.35.
Gannon tied for 13th on the vault to complete her all-around tally.
The Eastern South Dakota Conference meet is Thursday, Feb. 2, in Yankton.
