Cody Eugene Barker, 25, of Edgemont, died June 21, 2017, as a result of injuries suffered in an accident near Shawnee, Wyo.
He attended at South Dakota State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management with a business minor, graduating in 2015.
He returned to Edgemont to fulfill his lifelong dream of joining the family business, Barker Concrete and Construction.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 26 at the United Church in Edgemont with the Revs. Kori Lehrkamp and Tom Haggar officiating. Burial was at Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Rapid City.
A memorial has been established in Cody’s name.
