KANSAS CITY, MO. - South Dakota State sophomore Zeke Mayo continued a streak of NABC Division I All-District Team accolades for the men’s basketball program as he was chosen with all-district honors as voted on by NABC-member coaches across Division I, the organization announced Tuesday.
Mayo was picked to the NABC All-District 12 First Team for the first time in his college career.
The Lawrence, Kan., native established career highs in points, rebounds and assists en route to First Team All-Summit League honors. A starter in all 32 games, Mayo averaged over 20 points, six rebounds and four assists per game in conference play. He was a double-digit scorer in all but three contests over the course of the season. Mayo recorded four double-doubles and played nearly 36 minutes per contest for the Jackrabbits in the 2022-23 campaign.
SDSU has now had one selection to a NABC All-District Team for 11 consecutive seasons. Mayo is one of nine Jackrabbits to earn First Team All-District 12 honors.
